Two Highlights of our Summer down

VBS and Dance will go down as two of our summer highlights, both were amazing!
Here are a few pictures of both events. I am sure I will post more so bare with me.

End Zone
In this room they learned scripture in a pep rally environment.
They loved it and had fun.
What a great way to learn Gods Word!

Worship Rally At VBS.
We rocked the house as we praise the Lord.
My favorite was the rock en' Jesus Loves Me!
32 accepted Jesus on Wednesday!!!!!!
I love it, I love that - what a mighty God we serve.

Karly's Dress Rehearsal.
We could not take pictures at TPAC.

Karly was amazing. We were so proud of her.
I could never do what she did. Susie my friend and co worker, came to rehearsal with us. All three of us cried as we watched her (Don't tell Karl I blogged that he cried, he'll kill me, but he did). She has a great teacher, who just so happens to be one of my dear friends (bff) and co staffer at FBC, Ms. Melanie Simpson. Mel your the best!! Thanks for being you and the great example you are to my girls, who adore you.
The girls are in AR with the grandparents. The house is so quiet! I have to tell you what my oldest told me as they were leaving Saturday and I was getting weepy. She hugged me and said "Mom look on the bright side, when I have kids they can go stay with you for a week". Now how sweet is that. My pastor spoke on spiritual gifts this morning, I am thinking she may have the gift of mercy. lol

VBS

VBS 07
We have had a great week!

This is Jordan as a reporter in the Bible Adventure room. He is reporting on the Day of Pentecost. You can imagine how hard it was to come up with a play for such a story. I was so proud to see how all the actors pulled it off. I think the kids got it. My kids were talking about how amazing that must have been to be able to speak and understand another language.
Our Children's Pastor does a great job with kids worship. I have loved the varity of the worship ralley. We had 30 kids on Wednesday give their hearts and lives to Christ WOW!!
That is what it is all about.
VBS '07 ends tomorrow, I can't believe it.
We are already saying "next year lets...".
Crazy I know but we love VBS.

VBS/Camp/Vacation/Dance Recital/Anniversary

Ok in the next three weeks we have:
VBS June 18-22
Karly's dance recital 19th and 22nd
Camp Whatever (1 day)
Ark. to see the Meyers for 4 days
Celebrate our 15th anniversary 2 days
Go to Central kids camp. for a week.
WOW I am tired already!
The week before VBS is by far my toughest week of work. No days off and long hours but there is just something about it that I love. I was at the church until 8 on Thursday, 5 on Friday, 4 on Saturday and who knows about tomorrow but I loved it. We finished the stage about 4 today and I must say I think it turned out well. My family was with me which makes it even easier to work extra hours. Have I mentioned lately how amazing my husband is? He is definitely my partner in every thing and in every way. I am so blessed to have him. Another thing I love about VBS is the relationships that always seem to come from it. I have made so many good friends after working on VBS together. This year I have loved getting to know Becca W. more. She has done a great job as a VBS director. Thanks Becca!
